Maison Scotch Spring/Summer 2013 Collection

Maison Scotch, Scotch & Soda, Spring/Summer 2013, Spring 2013 collection

I have to say, I’ve fallen in love with Maison Scotch, the women’s line from Amsterdam-based Scotch & Soda. I generally try to avoid fashion blogger hyperbole (“smitten,” “obsessed,” “craving,” and the like), but rarely does a line so perfectly capture the effortless-chic aesthetic that I adore.

Maison Scotch’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection features a rich variety of textures and their signature relaxed cuts that still feel refined. There are plenty of southwest-inspired earth tones, but pops of aqua and cherry mix things up nicely. As always, their trousers and tops look best when casually cuffed, which feminizes a boyfriend silhouette. It’s also relatively easy to size down for a more fitted look, which I’ve done in the past with their button-downs.

I love how their campaign is part fashion showcase, part photo diary- it feels like we’re getting an intimate peek at happy vacation photos, not stiffly somber studio images. Also, could they have chosen a more beautiful backdrop? I think not.

I hope you enjoy these highlights from their new collection! Scotch & Soda, Maison Scotch, Spring/Summer 2013, Spring 2013 collection

  1. These images are stunning — gotta find out where this was shot and head there immediately! I want everything — especially the funky blazers, the pants and shorts with patches of print, and that gorgeous sweater in the second photo. And how did they tie that turban???

Come on, tell me!
