Forest Green Cords at Sunday Brunch

Sanfranista's Sunday Brunch at Jane in San Francisco

H&M tunic (most recently seen here), Uniqlo corduroy leggings ($19.90!), vintage necklace (similar here), custom bracelet by WireNameMike,

I know that much of the excitement of fashion blogs lies within ever-changing outfits using never-before-seem articles of clothing, but I really enjoy reading posts that feature a remix of a previously featured item. I revel in a brand-spanking-new skirt as much as the next girl, but I also love to wear my favorite pieces to death and find ways to remix them and keep them fresh.

For Sunday brunch last weekend, I busted out these Uniqlo corduroy leggings ($19.90!) and needed a tunic to wear with them (after all, not even corduroy leggings are pants). This crochet tunic is my most faithful companion (as seen here and here), rescuing me from many not-so-good-body days. I was also excited to show you the infamous Gilgarran boots that I mentioned in my very first blog post over three months ago. I love how the laces add another layer of texture to the crochet & corduroy combo.

By the way, if you live in San Francisco and haven’t been to Jane on Fillmore, you need to go now. Tables can be hard to come by on weekends, but the super-chic decor, amazing pastries, and cute hipster baristas are well worth braving the label-clad crowd. Oh, and their lattes are simply the best I’ve ever had.

If you need more reason than that, you’re one tough cookie.

  1. This is such a pretty look, I LOVE the cool corduroys leggings with the lace tunic! So many pretty textures 🙂 I haven’t been to Jane yet, but i’ll have to check it out when I go to sf during winter break.
